China's Net Steel Exports rise almost 26%. Domestic Apparent Consumption negative.

China's steel exports rose to a new record of more than 110 mio t in 2024, while China's steel product imports continued their double digit decline. Net exports increased by more than 25%, which is less than the net export increase of 45% in 2023.
China's apparent domestic consumption of crude steel declined by 1.3%.
We note that the ratio of steel exports relative to crude steel output exceeds 10% and is now in government intervention territory.
